About Tayna Araujo
I started working with Boatshed Trinidad in February 2023.
What did you do before working with Boatshed?
I've had quite an experience before I ended up working in the marine industry. It has always been a passion of mine to be around boats and all things nautical. As a Trinidadian, I have intimate knowledge of the area and connections with many contractors from the area, which has allowed me to serve many vessel owners. I work as a project manager in Trinidad, refurbishing and maintaining vessels for boaters while they are abroad and getting the vessel ready for the next sailing adventure.
What attracted you to become part of the Boatshed team?
The opportunity to work within the marine industry, to connect, share and work with other likeminded people is truly a privilege and something I am truly grateful for every day. Being part of the Boatshed team allows me the opportunity to ensure buyers and sellers have peace of mind when conducting their transactions.
Are you a motorboater or a sailor?
I am both a sailor and power boat enthusiast. I've been lucky to be exposed to all areas of boating from recreational sailing, power boat racing, motor boat cruising, to commercial and service vessels and tugs.
What is your most memorable boating experience?
I've been fortunate to have been born into a boating family and a lifetime of boating experience, so it's really hard to choose one that stands out. All of my experiences have shaped me into the person I am today.
